By Judy Hall
Publisher: Watkins Publishing (2016)
Type: Oracle deck (50 cards)
Size: 11.5 x 7.5 cm (shorter, but wider than most tarot decks)
Comes in a two-part box which opens like a drawer (with a ribbon pull), with guidebook. The book fits snugly in the box, while the cards fit in a cardboard inlay which doesn’t hold them in place once the plastic waistband is removed…
The cards are divided into five groups of ten cards, and each group has its own border color (which has nothing to do with the color of the crystal in the card). The cards have matte silver edges.
Guidebook: 120 pages. You get a lot of information about using crystals for healing, about crystal vibrations, and how to lay the cards for healing and divination. The five card groups are different kinds of vibrations. Each card gets one page, with a small color photo of the card, keywords, corresponding chakras, zodiac signs, etc.
This deck is a reprint of an earlier title, The Crystal Wisdom Oracle, which only had 40 cards. If there’s any difference in the guidebook (other than the new cards), I don’t know. (In the front of the book it says the text copyright is both from 2013 and 2016, so I’m guessing there are some changes.)
