Deck of the day: Ancient Italian Tarot

(Can’t find a creator…)

Publisher: Lo Scarabeo (2000, 2010)

Type: Marseille tarot (78 cards, Justice is 8, Strength is 11, non-scenic pips)

Comes in a tuck box (which I no longer have), with a booklet in multiple languages. The meanings given in the booklet are fairly generic, and not necessarily traditional Marseille meanings. Titles are in Italian. I think this deck is kind of a reprint (that’s not actually the word for it, but I forget what it is) of an Italian deck from 1880, which is very similar to the Tarocco Soprafino, from 1835.

Court cards

Note: This has been trimmed and edged with a gold marker.

Available on Amazon 🙂
